Our founder is Wade Hinton, an award-winning chief diversity officer, attorney, and business leader. DiversityFirst named Mr. Hinton one of its Top 100 Diversity Officers. Mr. Hinton has been recognized for his leadership by the Network Journal, the National Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Foundation, and a host of others. He is a Presidential Leadership Scholar, aGerman Marshall Fellow., and a Tennessee Bar Foundation Fellow. Mr. Hinton served as a Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer, the City Attorney for his hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Deputy General Counsel for Volkswagen Chattanooga. During Mr. Hinton’s tenure with Unum as its first Chief Inclusion & Diversity Officer, the Fortune 250 company received a number of awards and made its first appearance on Forbes Magazine’s list of Best Employers for Diversity.
